The second Red Bull Basement Festival will take place at Volkshaus in Zurich. Under the banner of “Technology for Good” and “Social Innovation”, the event offers a platform to people and entrepreneurs who are interested in the improvement of social challenges.

Already successful startup companies such as WeRobotics a company that brings medical help to remote areas with their cargo drones will be present to show you how you can contribute to a better world with Technology for Good.

Mona Mijthab, the co-founder of Mosan (Forbes Top 10 Swiss Startups 2019) will also be present. She will talk about the opportunities and challenges for socially-oriented companies.

Monique Morrow, co-founder of Humanized Internet as well as president of the VETRI foundation and Paul-Olivier Dehaye, one of the people who exposed the Cambridge Analytica scandal, will host a round-table discussion about digital identity, the use of personal and collective data as well as their risks and benefits.

Visitors can look forward to inspiring keynote speaker and panel discussions with fascinating people who are active in “Social Innovation” and “Tech for Good”.

During the festival week (from October 16 to 18), social entrepreneurs can attend different Workshops on Storytelling, Ideation or Impact Management. Experts share their knowhow on what can ultimately contribute to a successful startup company or project.
