Major Business Hubs, Geneva And Zurich, Included In Newly Launched Routes, Picture Courtesy Of PrivateFly

Private charter platform PrivateFly, a Directional Aviation company, has included key business cities, Geneva and Zurich as part of its new and extended list of fixed-price private charter routes for the autumn and winter season. Following demand from the business community after the success of the ‘City Pairs’ offering earlier in 2019, the focus this season is on some major European business hubs.

Geneva, with its long-established position as a global conference and meeting hub, alongside Zurich, one of the world’s leading financial centres are both perfect inclusions on PrivateFly’s latest exclusive list of locations.

‘City Pairs’ accounted for over 20% of PrivateFly flights in the summer period. According to PrivateFly, its ‘City Pairs’ exclusives are 30% lower than average year-round prices on the same or an equivalent aircraft. In response to demand, new route pairings from London not just include Geneva and Zurich, but also Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Barcelona – adding to existing destinations such as Paris, Geneva and Nice. Prices start from €4,500 (£4,050) one-way between London and Paris on the six-seat Nextant 400XTi, giving a person price of £675 if a six-strong group fly together.

Longer range pairings on the Legacy 600 include Marrakech and Moscow, and in addition to London, there are accompanying routes to and from Paris, Geneva and Nice. These prices are available for flights departing before 31 March 2020.

With a track record of flights taking off under an hour from the initial enquiry, the PrivateFly team do not waste precious minutes when it comes to responses. With seamless and queue-free security and check in, the ability to work in comfort and privacy during the flight, and the speed of exit upon landing, these flights are proving a boon with time-poor business people.

Adam Twidell, CEO of PrivateFly, said: “Being part of Directional Aviation’s OneSky family, and having access to a larger fleet enables us to offer these kinds of exclusives, alongside the wider market.

“Our initial range of City Pairs proved very popular with clients, not only for the great price but for the speed of booking, reliability and certainty. On these routes we can provide a guaranteed price upfront and take out some of the steps in the supply chain, which are usually required to confirm the quote. By committing to volumes, on routes that are operationally efficient, we can offer our City Pairs as a fixed, one-way price upfront.

“It’s a bit like Expedia comparing all places to stay in Geneva, but at the same time offering an exclusive they have negotiated with a particular hotel. Ultimately these aircraft and routes won’t be right for everyone, but for clients whose business and leisure demands align – they won’t find better prices anywhere else.”
