Coworking provider Westhive is increasing the capacity of its main location at Hardturmstrasse 161 by more than 25 percent. The new space «Mountain View», located on the 6th floor, offers another 80 desks, a spacious ideation room, and a gym. Another highlight is the rooftop bar, offering a stunning view of many architectural landmarks in Zurich West and the Üetliberg. After the successful launch of the «Skyspace» this spring, «Mountain View» is already the second extension of Westhive Hardturmstrasse after its initial opening in April 2018.
Running at almost full capacity after only one and a half years of operation, coworking provider Westhive extends its offering significantly by March 2020. By adding 80 more desks on the 6th floor of Hardturmstrasse 161, Westhive will have an overall capacity of 360 desks.
«We are not only investing in the quantity, but also in the quality of our offering», says Bruno Rambaldi, co-founder and responsible for the expansion strategy of the company. «The ideation room, the gym and the rooftop bar will make Westhive Hardturmstrasse an even more attractive place to work.»
The so-called ideation room allows innovation teams to work for a day or two in a completely different environment. It will look much more like a living room than an office, and hopefully this will stimulate the innovation process. The new gym will be open to all Westhive members while the rooftop bar with its 270-degree view will be available for public and private events, offering a perfect spot to enjoy the sunsets over the Üetliberg.
