DART Talent & Executive Search AG (DART) has appointed Sasha Savic as a new partner and COO as of 1st September 2019. As a member of the Management Board of the Zurich-based executive search firm, 44-year-old Savic will further develop and strengthen the areas of Emerging Markets and Corporate Functions as well as the Fintech sector. With this appointment, DART is underscoring its growth ambitions in Switzerland, EMEA and Asia.

DART, one of the leading Swiss executive search companies and winner of the WealthBriefing Award for best Executive Search Firm in Switzerland in 2017 and 2018, is expanding its Management Board with the apointment of Sasha Savic as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Savic will become a new equity partner of the company. “We are all delighted to welcome Sasha to the DART family. His knowledge, integrity, and many years of international experience are important components from which our clients will benefit and we, as a Wealth- and Asset Management and Fintech specialist, require for the implementation of our growth strategy”, explains Managing Partner and DART founder Daniel Aghdami.

Broad knowledge and expertise in international wealth management

Over the past 19 years, Sasha Savic has worked for UBS in the Wealth Management division, most recently as a Managing Director responsible for various transformation projects in Global Wealth Management. After studying Business Administration, Sasha Savic joined the Finance department of UBS in Zurich in 2000. International assignments in New York (2002) and Sao Paulo (2005) followed.

The move to the Latin American Wealth Management market led to further senior positions in the front office and in market management, and later to roles in the bank‘s innovation and change unit.

Since 2016 he has been a member of the Advisory Board at DART Talent & Executive Search AG. This advisory role ultimately allowed him to gain key insights into the company and its values, and already help shape its positive trajectory.

Savic will now apply his broad expert knowledge and network in international Wealth Management at DART to develop additional business fields for the Investment Management and Fintech arenas, and support the company in its expansion. Sasha Savic holds a dual masters in Finance and Wealth Management from the Universities of Bern and Rochester as well as a degree from the University of Applied Sciences Furtwangen University. He lives with his wife and three children near Zurich.
