The Westhive Co-Working Ecosystem Launches Summer Breakout Room on the Limmat
Coworking provider Westhive is launching a new offering especially for meetings on hot summer days: The Breakout Room “Unicorn” is located in the middle of the Limmat.
When temperatures rise, productivity decreases. Westhive therefore now offers a Breakout Room especially for hot summer days, which brings a breath of fresh air into every brainstorming session and promises a quick cool down during heated discussions. “Unicorn” is a floating island that allows informal meetings with up to four people to be held on the Limmat.
The summer breakout room can now be booked on the website www.westhive.com just like the other nine meeting rooms at Hardturmstrasse 161. So that users can refresh themselves at any time, the “Unicorn” has a beverage cooler, an integrated footbath and an entry/exit aid for a spontaneous bath in the Limmat. Also on board is an anchor pocket with rope.
“This offer is more than just a gag,” Westhive co-founder Andreas Widmer makes clear. “It stands for the conviction of the Westhive team that innovation and creativity are essentially shaped by the working environment. To be able to think “out of the box”, you have to leave the box of the traditional meeting room. And we are currently thinking intensively about further special rooms for creative work.”
Westhive AG opened its first coworking location at Hardturmstrasse 161 in April 2018. Together with the Westhive Library in the Zurich Hürlimann area and the new Westhive Skyspace, around 400 workstations with a complete service infrastructure are available today. Prominent Westhive members include the Valora Digital Innovation Lab, the AMAG Group’s Innovation & Venture Lab, LafargeHolcim Startup MAQER, the Swiss Startup Group and over 20 startups.
