Through their start-up Direct Coffee, social entrepreneurs and husband and wife team, Marie and Michael Tuil, are importing specialty coffee from smallholder farmers in Ethiopia to realize specific social projects in the coffee-growing region. Each package of coffee that is sold in Switzerland supports one of the farmers’ children in a project of their choosing. Marie shares their entrepreneurial story with us here.
